Rishikesh is a small city located in the state of Uttarakhand, in northern India, at the foothills of the Himalayas and on the banks of the sacred Ganges River. Known as “the gateway to the Himalayas” and “the world capital of yoga,” Rishikesh has been a center of spiritual pilgrimage for centuries. Here, sages and masters would retreat in search of enlightenment,and even today it retains its atmosphere of contemplation and wisdom.  Its international fame grew in the 1960s when the Beatles visited Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s ashram to study Transcendental Meditation.

Beyond its modern popularity, Rishikesh remains a sacred place where the sound of mantras echoes through temples and forests, inviting those who arrive to a meeting with the eternal.

How your journey begins?

We invite you to experience a unique journey in Rishikesh, the world capital of yoga—a place where spirituality, nature, and ancient wisdom intertwine to offer you a deeply transformative experience. In this special opportunity, you will be part
of a space for learning, rest, and reconnection with your purest essence, set in a lush environment on the banks of the sacred Ganges River, surrounded by mountains and serenity.

Throughout this journey, you will enjoy daily practices of Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, mantra chanting, and moments of contemplation and deep
meditation.

You will also experience a sattvic diet—light, nourishing, and mindful—designed to harmonize body, mind, and spirit. In 
addition, there will be free time to explore nature, wander the mystical trails of the area, and immerse yourself in its purifying
waters.

Tradition and Teaching

The teaching team will be composed of local teachers from Rishikesh, deeply trained in the yogic tradition, as well as Spanish-speaking instructors who will share their vision and experience. All

classes taught in English will have simultaneous translation into Spanish, ensuring that every participant can fully understand the content, regardless of their language level.

Additionally, this training includes an international 50-hour YACEP certification (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program), valid for those who wish to add continuing education hours recognized by Yoga Alliance.

This experience is open to practitioners of all levels, teachers seeking to enrich their practice, and any open-hearted seeker. No prior experience or knowledge of yoga or meditation is required— only the genuine desire to live this journey.

Daily schedule for the Yoga Retreat Rishikesh India

These days will be a combination of training and personal experience.

You will learn new techniques, deepen your traditional practices, and reflect on various themes from the ancient philosophy of India, opening new perspectives on your path of self-discovery and search for meaning.

It is a time dedicated to returning to what is essential, restoring inner balance, and exploring your highest potential.

You will have time to rest, walk, study, and explore the city.

We provide nourishing and balanced meals throughout the day. Breakfast prepared in our kitchen is nutritious, tasty, balanced and prepared from fresh nuts, vegetables, fruits and grains. During your stay with us, you would have an opportunity to taste traditional Indian delicacies.

We serve pure vegetarian, ‘sattvik’, wholesome and nutritious. The food prepared in our kitchen includes freshies, ghee (clarified butter), fruits, legumes, and whole grains. The meals help you maintain the lightness of your body and helps to keep the mind calm.
