Shivam Thakur

Born in Rishikesh by the river Ganga and influenced by the wandering Sages of the Himalayas, Shivam Thakur found his innate love for Yoga . He began his journey with Yoga by completing his Hatha Yoga certification course from Jairam Ashram Rishikesh and  MA in Yoga from Punjab Singh Kshetra Rishikesh. 

He then continued his studies of alignments based yoga at Aradhana Yoga Shala and Om Yoga Academy under the tutelage of Ravi Bist and Satveer Rana. He then was offered a job in Yue Yoga, Taizohu in China as a Yoga tutor. Returning to Rishikesh he now is under the mentorship of Parveen Nair exploring somatics , embodied movements and breath work . At present he is a part of the team of teachers in Rishikesh Yogis Yoga Shala .
